- Natural Bamboo fiber is extracted directly from Bamboo clums - by
crushing, grinding, wringing, and then combing the actual pulp from the Bamboo
plants. Bamboo fiber is 100% Bamboo. A high-tech process
that includes refining the Bamboo pulp with caustic soda, the lowest
impacted chemical. Nothing else is added to the fiber.
The manufacturing is green process without pollution.
- A natural cellulose and
eco-friendly fiber, that is thinner than the average human hair with a
round, smooth surface.
- The bamboo fibers are biodegradable and
decomposition does not cause any environmental pollution.
- Bamboo is easily blended
with other natural fibers. Bamboo fabric needs to have at least
70% Bamboo to reap all the benefits of bamboo.
- Easy to dye and produces splendid colors.
Our dye house uses organic, non-toxic dying, which conforms with
international standards.
- Fiber thinness compares to
very fine silk.
- Strong and good tensile strength.
- Easily processed into
fabric.
- Excellent mildew resistance.
- Excellent soil release
properties.
- Good sunlight resistance.
- Excellent insulator.
- Bamboo Viscose is produced by chemical processing.
- A cross-section of fiber
shows that it is filled with various micro-gaps and micro-holes, which
accounts for the fantastic moisture absorption and ventilation.
Bamboo can absorb and evaporate human sweat in a split second.
- Bamboo has limited UV protection properties.
- Fiber length is 36"-6'.
- High luster.
- It has anti-static
properties.
- Naturally antibacterial and antifungal. This is retained in
the fiber after the fabric is made and through laundry cycles, which
makes bamboo fabric healthier and more hygienic. (Tests done by the
Japanese Textile Inspection Association)
