fabric comes from Phyllostachys Pubesens (commonly known as Moso
Bamboo).
Where does it come
from? Moso Bamboo
grows over 7 1/2 million acres in China. This is the largest of
the temperate zone bamboo species and is the most economically important
bamboo species in China.
Who grows it?
The textile factory owns and maintains its own plantations on a large
mountainside.
Where is the
plantation? Located
in Zhejiang Province, which is south of the factory in Suzhou.
What are the harvesting
practices?
Our factory in China is utilizing the best harvesting practices to
ensure a long-term supply of bamboo fiber.
What kind of cotton is
used in the blend?
We are currently using organic cotton when the bamboo is blended with
cotton.
